Passport & Visa Requirements

Passports:All nationals intending to visit Hong Kong must have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel. It is mandatory for all travelers to provide evidence of sufficient funds to support themselves during their stay.

Visas:Not required by the nationals listed below for the referred duration:

1. British Citizens for stays of up to 180 days
2. Nationals of Australia, Canada and USA do not require a visa for stays of up to 90 days
3. Nationals of EU countries, except British nationals (180 days) for stays of up to 90 days
All others are required to contact the embassy in their respective countries for a visa.

When to visit Hong Kong

Hong Kong is visited by travelers all around the year. However, the duration in which Hong Kong witnesses the maximum tourist influx is from September to February. These are the relatively cooler months and tourists prefer this time for comfortably exploring this wonderful city.
