Nationals of Austria, Belgium, Canada, Australia, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, UK, Sweden, USA Sweden, Luxembourg and Finland can obtain visa on arrival at the Doha International Airport.
Israeli nationals are not permitted to enter Qatar.

When to visit Doha

Doha can be unbearably hot during summers hence it is best to avoid the months from May through October. The best time to visit Doha is between November to March when the weather is cool and pleasant enough to enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities.

Doha Weather

Located on the eastern coast of Qatar, Doha has a hot and temperate climate. The city experiences extremely hot temperatures throughout the year with very little rainfall. June to September is the peak summer time with an average temperature of around 40-45 degree Celsius. Winter months from December to February are comparatively cooler with the average temperature being consistently more than 20 degree Celsius.

Currency and Language

Currency:Qatari rial (QAR) is the official currency of Qatar. Currency exchange bureaus and ATMs can be found all over the city. Credit cards are widely accepted by hotels and large stores.

Language:Arabic is the official language of Qatar but English is also widely spoken and understood. A large number of people in Doha speak Urdu as well.
