Robben Island:An apartheid prison where Nelson Mandela and likes spent a major portion of their lives, Robben Island was declared a world heritage site in 1997. Constania Wine Route:In the shadow of Table Mountain lies the Constania Wine Route with some of the oldest wine estates in the country.
