Catedral de Lima (La)

I found Cathedral de Lima is one of the best Cathedrals of South America. It is a Cathedral and also a museum. I could know a lot of colonial history. I enjoyed strolling around the complex and could collect bits of information about the history of Peru. It is a must see place in Peru.

My daughter and I visited this beautiful art gallery in our trip to Lima. It is really a great place. Many skilled artists work in this gallery and new and budding local artists are also given chance. My daughter loved the gallery very much as she is a great lover of visiting such art galleries.

Casa del Oidor

When I went to Peru last month I visited Casa del Oidor. Many traditional beliefs are associated with this ancient structure like the women used to watch the square hiding behind the balconies. The balconies are beautiful and any visitor can have a look at these wonderful balconies. I too loved this place a lot.

Casa de Aliaga

Wow! This is a fascinating museum. I liked it. It seems to be a restored colonial home, and there are many rooms that represent life in Lima since 16th century. Casa de Aliaga is not open to the public and if you want to see then you have to arrange a Lima tour.

Casa De La Riva Aguero

We were a group of friends who were on a vacation in Lima. There were many interesting places here. I must say that Casa De La Riva Aguero is one such interesting place. This construction is named after the great writer Don Jose de la Riva Aguero. The furniture inside the house reflects the passing generations. It is really a good place to visit.

During my visit to Lima, I visited this small gallery when there was an exhibition going on. The sculptures and paintings were so beautiful that they were a treat to my eyes. In Borkas I saw latest trends from a new generation of Peruvian artists. I ended my tour with this exciting visit to this gallery.
