The Royal Palace is a very striking building. It is mainly a library and a museum now. I took some snaps of the big palace gates and also views of the river side town. I also saw the statue of Prince Eugene of Savoy in front of the central part of the building. It is said that the prince was one of a leader of the army that liberated Buda Castle in 1686. It was an interesting experience of visiting the palace that gave glimpses of royal history associated with it.
