Europe Hungary Budapest Hotels BUDAPEST

We just returned from Budapest. We stayed at the Hotel Budapest for two nights. We were very pleased with the hotel for its cleanliness, and helpful hotel staff. Our room was on fourth floor and had a nice view of the hills. The breakfast was also very good with different varieties of salads, bread, scrambled egg, juice, tea and coffee. Everything about the hotel is good.

Europe Hungary Budapest Tourist-Attractions Royal Palace

The Royal Palace is a very striking building. It is mainly a library and a museum now. I took some snaps of the big palace gates and also views of the river side town. I also saw the statue of Prince Eugene of Savoy in front of the central part of the building. It is said that the prince was one of a leader of the army that liberated Buda Castle in 1686. It was an interesting experience of visiting the palace that gave glimpses of royal history associated with it.

My family vacation to Budapest was full of fun. I want to mention particularly of the Budapest castle. It was really an amazing experience climbing on top of the castle. Moreover the gardens around it were very beautiful. We strolled across these gardens and enjoyed a lot.
