Munich Franz Josef Strauss Airport, located 28 km northeast of Munich, is the second busiest airport in Germany behind Frankfurt Airport and the 14th busiest in terms of international passenger traffic. The airport is a hub for Lufthansa and Star Alliance partner airlines.
