Adis Ababa International Airport or Bole International Airport, located 18 km east of the city, is the primary international airport serving as a hub for Ethiopian Airlines. Along with all major destinations in Ethiopia, the airport also hosts non-stop international flights to whole of African continent, North America, Asia and Europe. It is the sixth busiest airport in Africa, as well as the busiest in East Africa.
Along with a large car parking outside the terminal, the airport also provides car hire services and ground transportation facilities to the travelers. The tourist help desk at the arrivals area assists the travelers in organizing a comfortable travel itinerary. Also available onsite are banks, post office, ATMs and bureau de change. Shop at the gift shops and duty-free outlets or enjoy a great meal at the various cafes and restaurants that caters to varied tastes and budgets. Other facilities include luggage trolleys, travel agency, VIP lounge and first aid facilities.
Although there are no business facilities or hotels in the airport premises, these can be found close to the airport at just a few minutes driving distance.
