How does the Booking Process work on Globester?

As soon a booking is made from Globester website, an e-mail is sent to the primary traveler’s e-mail with the booking details. A second e-mail is sent with ticket numbers and other required details within 72 hours after the booking e-mail.

Additionally, airlines sell blocks of tickets at discounted prices to Consolidators which are then sold to consumers through travel agents. Can I use my Debit Card to pay for my tickets?

You can use a debit card or a credit card to pay for
flight tickets. In case you are using a Debit Card to purchase a ticket, please let your bank of the total charge for them to authorize the charge. Debit card usually limit as how much can be charged on the card on a daily basis.

What are E-Tickets?

It is a big expense for airlines to print and ship paper tickets. To eliminate this expense Airlines are implementing e-tickets for travel on most international routes. E-tickets are nothing but just ticket numbers. By providing a ticket number, airlines confirm that you have purchased a seat on that particular flight. Travelers are still required to show their passport and Visa before boarding the plane.

Where can I see my bookings?

You can see your current and past bookings by clicking on View My Trips or My Globester link from the Globester. Once a ticket has been issued, latest 3 bookings can be seen under View My Trips section and all current and prior booking and personal information is stored inside My Globester and available to you any time. You will be required to log-in using your login and password you created at the time of the registration with Globester.

From My Globester Link:

  • You can change your Profile
  • See details on all your current and prior Bookings
  • Look-up Your Globester Miles
  • Request to cancel a reservation

If I have forgotten my password, how can I retrieve it?

If you don't know your password:

  • From the Home Page, Click on "Sign in"
  • If you have forgotten your password, Click on "Forgot Your Password"
  • Enter your Login ID. Your old password will be e-mailed to you.

How Can I change or cancel my booking?

  • A change or cancellation request can be made by sending an e-mail to Globester Support.
  • Before you make a booking, as well as the booking confirmation e-mail will list change and cancellation policies for your booking.
  • Cancellation: If allowed, you will be required to pay a cancellation penalty to cancel the ticket(s). Cancellation must be done prior to the departure date on the outbound flight.
  • Change: If allowed, you will be required to pay a change penalty and fare difference if any for the new travel dates.
  • Airline tickets are non-transferable. Once ticketed, one can not
    • change the name on an airline ticket or
    • give the ticket to someone else to use
    • exchange a ticket from one airline to another
  • E-tickets: Call at least 1 week before your original departure to change or cancel a ticket.
  • Paper tickets: Call at least 2 Weeks prior to the departure date. You have to send your original tickets before a refund or change can be made in time.

Can I just use the return portion of my ticket?

You must travel on the outbound portion of your ticket. Airlines cancel the tickets as no-show if a traveler misses or does not use the outbound portion of the ticket.

Can I select a seat or my meal preferences when making a booking on Globester?

During the booking process, Globester allows you to select a seat of your choice by selecting a Window or Aisle seat. You can also select one of the options for meal preferences if any.

We advise all customers to check with the Airlines (once a ticket has been issued) to confirm seat and meal preferences. Some airlines do not allow seat selection in advance for Consolidator Fares.

What documents should I take to the Airport?

For all U.S. domestic travel, you must show a federally issued identification e.g. a driver’s license or a passport before you are allowed to check-in. For travel to International Destinations, all travelers are required to present their Passport, valid government issued photo ID (such as driver's license) and any visa required to enter the country of destination.

You must check with the Embassy or Consulate office in advance to check on the Visa Requirements.

What are the baggage limitations for my Travel?

Baggage allowances change airline by airline as well as changed by airlines from time to time. It is advisable to either check the airline website or call them directly to confirm their latest baggage limitations.Baggage policies of the airlines are shown on the result and purchase page. Bagage policy links are also found in the booking and ticketing email.
