Montenegro Airlines is the national air carrier of Montenegro. The airline`s two prominent bases are at Podgorica Airport and Tivat Airport. Montenegro Airlines provides regular international flights to 16 major destinations and other cites in Europe such as Frankfurt, Zurich, Ljubljana, Skopje, Istanbul, Budapest, Athens, Corfu, Rhodos, Skiatos, Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Riga, London, Hurgada, Brno, Ostrava, Dusseldorf and Catania. The airline was founded in 1994 by the Government of Montenegro and currently has a modern fleet of eight aircrafts.

Montenegro Airlines serves its travelers with great in-flight amenities. The cabin crew of the airline is trained to handle any medical emergency. The business class travelers are offered with extensive lists of entrees and travelers are offered alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Montenegro Airlines has been a member of IFCA (International Flight Catering Association) since 2003 and provides excellent in-flight catering service. The in-flight meals cater to specific dietary needs of the travelers with special requests such as vegetarian and kosher meals. These special meals must be ordered in advance. Business travelers are further served with cocktails by the crew members.

The web check-in service by Montenegro Airlines enables travelers to check-in even before they have packed their luggage. The service is for travelers with a valid e-ticket. To check-in online, travelers can go to airlines website and fill the e-ticket number and other itinerary required. This service also helps in choosing seats and printing of the boarding pass in advance. The web check-in is available from 24 hours up to 1 hour prior to scheduled departure of the flight. This service is not for unaccompanied minors.

The baggage policy of Montenegro Airlines is determined as per the piece, weight and size concept. For the checked baggage the weight restriction is of 66 lbs in Business class and 44 lbs in Economy class. The piece limit of checked baggage for Business class is two and for the Economy class it is one piece per traveler. Each traveler is allowed to carry one cabin baggage weighing 22 lbs free of charge. The overall dimension of checked baggage is 62 inches and for cabin baggage it is 45 inches.
