Turkish Airlines (TK) is the flag bearer airline of Turkey. With headquarters located at Istanbul, the airline flies to 37 domestic cities and 120 international in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. The airline has been a member of Star Alliance since 2008. Turkish Airlines was incorporated in the year 1933 under the name tag State Airlines Administration as a part of Ministry of Defense in Turkey. Currently the airline holds a huge fleet of 133 aircrafts.

The Turkish Airlines web check-in service is available for all travelers who possess an e-ticket. The online check-in process starts 24 hours before the flight departure time and ends 90 minutes prior to flight departure time. This service is available for up to 8 passengers in the same reservation record (PNR).

Turkish Airlines Baggage Policy permits to bring in checked baggage with weight limit of 70 lbs in Business Class and 50 lbs in Economy class. The piece limit for checked baggage is 2 pieces in First and Business class and one in Economy class. One carry on baggage weighing 22 lbs is allowed per traveler. The size limit for checked baggage is 62 inches and for carry on baggage it is 45 inches.
