Aeroflot is the largest airline by air traffic operational in Russia. The airline was established in 1923 under the name Dobrolyot by the Russian Government. Aeroflot was a Soviet Airline before the dissolution of USSR. Later it became the semi-private de facto national airline of Russia. Aeroflot is a member of Skyteam Alliance. Aeroflot commutes with three in-flight classes-President, Premier and Economy class. For the President and premier class the in-flight entertainment includes multi-channel programs in Russian and other languages, animation and latest Hollywood movies, interactive video games and the DigEplayer facility. For the executives flying onboard Aeroflot provides specially designed seats `cocoon` along with huge working space, a convenient storage pocket for the laptop and files and a PC power point equipped with every seat. The in-flight meals from `a la carte` menu are served on the finest porcelain with wonderful cutlery and linen napkins. The meals constitutes of starters, salads, entrees and desserts. The complimentary drinks are served onboard.

The web check-in service by Aeroflot enables the travelers with valid e-ticket to print their boarding passes and assign seats for themselves in advance from anywhere using the web. This service is available for all Aeroflot flights except when travelling to USA and India. The web checking must be done 24 hours to 1.5 hours before the departure of the flight.

As per the Aeroflot Airlines baggage policy the baggage allowance for checked baggage in Premier and President Class is 66 lbs and in Economy class it is 44 lbs. The piece limit for checked baggage is two pieces in Premier and President Class and for Economy class it is one piece per traveler. A carry-on baggage is weighing 15.4 lbs is allowed free of charge per traveler. The overall dimension of the checked baggage is 62 inches and for carry-on baggage it is 45 inches.
