Iberia Airlines (IB) is the national airline of Spain. It has its headquarters based in Madrid. It operates an extensive international network of services. Madrid Barajas International Airport and Barcelona International Airport serve as major airports for Iberia. Iberia Airlines together with Iberia Regional make the huge Iberia group. Iberia Regional is managed by another self-governing carrier called Air Nostrum. The Iberia group is not only limited to carrying passengers and cargo, but manages many other correlated services including aircraft maintenance, handling in airports, IT coordination and catering in-flight cuisine. The Iberia Group airlines cover more than 102 destinations in around 39 countries. In addition to this, the Iberian Airline also serves other 90 destinations through code-sharing settlements with other companies such as American Airlines, Qantas, Avianca, and British Airways. Around 1000 flights are arranged through a fleet of more than 200 aircraft in a day.
