Aer Lingus (EI) is the national carrier of the Republic of Ireland. With its headquarters at Dublin, the airline serves around 80 destinations in UK, Europe, USA and the Middle East. Aer Lingus was founded in the year 1936, and has the most organized crew with a work force of 4,000 employees. With figures of 1.1 billion as revenue in a year it easily competes amongst the best. It has a wide body fleet of more than 40 aircrafts. Aer Lingus is under code share agreement with United Airlines, British Airways and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. The code share agreement allows Aer Lingus to sell
airline tickets on other airlines as well. The airline even offers a cargo carrying service to some selected destinations such as the United States, Middle East, and Europe, in addition to its own cargo handling services to Singapore Airlines, SAS and Lufthansa from Dublin and Shannon Airports.
